Our mission is to turn passion into achievement
History: Founded in 1994, PSCS is a Washington State–approved private school and a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Location: 660 S Dearborn St, in Seattle’s International District.
Enrollment 2017-18: 52 students from Seattle and the greater metropolitan area.
Staff: 5 teaching staff, 4 administrators, 2 adjunct teaching staff.
Student/Teaching Staff Ratio: 11:1
Tuition & Fees: Tuition for the 2017–2018 school year is $19,990. PSCS works hard to include fees and expenses in tuition costs and not nickel and dime families as we go along in a school year. Added fees depend on individual student activities and, on average, amount to $250 per year. However, we want students to be able to do things that may have associated fees, regardless of their economic status. As such, we offer program aid to families for whom added costs might stand in the way of a student doing activities or taking courses they are interested in.
Tuition Aid: In 2017-18, ~27% of PSCS students were awarded financial aid. Aid awards are made on the basis of a family’s demonstrated financial need. In addition to tuition need considerations, the Tuition Aid Committee, convened by the School Director, takes into account the number of, ages of, and tuition obligations for other children, additional dependents, assets, and all sources of income.
